苍井空，1983年11月11日出生于日本东京。日本AV女演员、成人模特，兼电视、电影演员。日本女子组合惠比寿麝香葡萄的初代首领，现成员、OG首领。2010年3月毕业并将组合首领之位交托给麻美由真，同年10月复归。
入行前曾是泳装写真女星，2002年进入AliceJapan公司，开始性感影片的拍摄生涯。因为其“童颜巨乳”的特色，开始获得人气，并连续在2003年及2004年蝉联日本《VideoBoy》杂志年度性感女艺人第一名。 从2003年起，开始参加一般电视戏剧及综艺节目中演出，2004年11月移籍到S1，成功转型，大牌杂志模特及电影演员。
作为一直都是宅男们心中的一代“硬盘女神”苍井空（苍井そら），近日在Twitter上宣布正式引退！虽然自2011年之后已经有5年时间没有拍摄成人作品，但是苍井空人气却有增无减。其实苍井空一直都没有拍引退作，粉丝觉得她仍然有机会再「指导」大家。近日Twitter上面有日本网友在讨论国内人称「苍老师」的前AV女优苍井空时，苍老师转发了其中一条推文，并表示她已经正式引退（称呼自己为前女优），也不会有引退作。这个虽然是条新的消息，但如果你本身就是个AV爱好者，相信你应该知道苍老师已经好几年都没有拍过新作，和引退基本上没什么区别，这次其实只是真正「盖棺定论」而已。
根据网友称，由苍井空担当主持人的文化类互联网脱口秀节目《苍老师八点半》，当前正在热播中。
